What are affiliate links?

An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks a referral from our site to a retailer. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.

How we label affiliate links

In accordance with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) CAP Code and FTC guidelines, we clearly label all pages and sections that contain affiliate links. You will see:

• An "Ad" label on "Where to Buy" sections and price links, indicating a commercial relationship
• A disclosure notice near affiliate links before you click them
• The rel="sponsored" attribute on all affiliate links (visible to search engines)

How we choose which products to feature

We display "Where to Buy" links by automatically matching products in our database to retailer product feeds. Our compatibility scores, recommendations, and component data are generated algorithmically and are never influenced by affiliate relationships. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or preferentially display any product or retailer.

Your rights

You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. You can:

• Visit the retailer directly instead of clicking our links
• Use browser extensions or ad blockers that strip affiliate tracking
• Ignore "Where to Buy" sections entirely

Using our links costs you nothing extra and helps support the site, but we fully respect your choice either way.
